HOLY MOTHER OF SALADS: Flavor Explosion

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset
Holy Mother of Salads, this is DANG delicious!

My mouth is going nuts right now -I’m chomping on this phenomenal salad as I type and my fingers just can’t fly fast enough to describe the wondrous experience!

Obviously, I had to share.

I got this fabulously ripe papaya today at zee market and I can’t stop eating it, so…I based my salad around it.  A fruit salad with a few other traditional, grounding elements -your carrots, your spinach, your cucumber…

(Just get to the recipe, already! -That’s my tastebuds talking.)

HOLY MOTHER OF SALADS RECIPE

-Fresh greens (I chose spinach.  I nearly always choose spinach –you beauty, you.)  And I like to cut mine up so they’re manageable on a fork; just use kitchen shears.

-Papaya

-Red grapes, halved

-Carrots, chopped

-Cucumber, chopped (I like to half mine, then chop so they’re not ridiculously huge wheels crammed into my mouth)

-Strawberries, chopped

– Green Onions, 2-3 chopped  (Adding these was a stroke of brilliance -WOW, it creates such balance and depth. I really thought I was about to make a bad move with these guys, but nope. Salad MAKER.)

-Raw Pecans, crumbled or chopped

For dressing I just shloshed some apple cider vinegar on and tossed.
